Chocolate crepes and wine

As I sit here eating my nutella filled crepes with chocolate drizzle (yum), I find myself writing my last ever paper. I have one paragraph done and it seems like ages ago that I was whipping up papers every other day. I'm at a wine/cafe bar...I wonder if it's too early to start serving wine*?

I have no photos to share, yet. I'll have to upload them all this weekend. Tomorrow I go to Limerick for my interview and if all goes well, I should be starting next week. Tomorrow night then, I do believe I'm heading back to Galway, and then Cliffs of Moher. I would like to make it to Scotland this week, but Scotland's not going anywhere, so I have time.

I've been spending the past few days in Cork with my cousins and so for today, they've gone into work and I'm spending the day in Midleton (writing my paper...)

* fyi: It's not too early for wine.

I've also started writing a book.

Since I have no new photos to leave you with, here is a quote (and a not so new, but not so old photo)

“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.” – Cesare Pavese

Another self-timer attempt.
